Think you know your U.S. Soccer trivia? Well... try us. We'll see how far back your knowledge of Team USA and U.S. Soccer extends. And who the heck is Jack Marshall? Even the trivia buffs in the U.S. Soccer Communications Department would be hard pressed to tell you that one Jack Marshall received his one and only cap way back in 1926. Okay, that was pretty much impossible. They get easier. We give you four questions each month, 1 to 4, easy to hard. As warned in last issue, after two consecutive issues of softy questions, it's back to good stuff with the "Jack" trivia. The topic? If you don't know that one, then just turn back now. Answers: A1: Brazil and France, with les Blues pulling out a not-so-surprising 3-0 win over the Samba Kings. France was led by midfield wizard Zinedine Zidane, whose two goals off headers only added to his legend. Meanwhile, highly-touted Ronaldo was not himself and Brazil suffered along with him. A2: Brazil, who have lifted the Cup on four separate occasions (Sweden 1958, Chile 1962, Mexico 1970 and USA 1994). A3: Third place at Uruguay 1930. A4: Italy in 1934. The Azzurri defeated Greece 4-0 in a qualifying match two months prior to the start of the event.
