Brian McBride
On July 26, U.S. National Team forward and three-time World Cup veteran Brian McBride announced his retirement from international soccer. No doubt a sad day for U.S. fans. You know a lot of his stats: 95 caps, 30 goals, second all-time leading scorer in team history, the only player in U.S. history to score in multiple World Cups (1998, 2002), all-time leader in World Cup qualifying goals (10), and second-most appearances for the USA in World Cup matches (10). As a tribute to a great player, and great friend, YDKJ gives you Brian McBride trivia.

1. McBride is second all-time on the U.S. goal scoring charts. Who is ahead of him, and who is behind him on that list?

2. How many goals did McBride score in his career vs. arch-rival Mexico?

3. Which opponent has McBride scored the most career goals against?

4. McBride made his U.S. National Team debut as a substitute on March 25, 1993, vs. Honduras in Tegucigalpa. What player came out of the game when he came in?

National Soccer Hall of Fame Bonus Question: One of McBride's most memorable goals came vs. Portugal at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Who had the assist, and on what club team was that player a teammate with McBride?
