McBride has sharpened his game of late, to the tune of four goals and an MVP trophy in the five games on the way to the 2002 Gold Cup championship and two assists in the team's 4-0 win over Honduras on March 2. The only reason you didn't see the 6'0" striker mixing it up with Cannavaro in Sicily was because McBride made a huge stride off the field by getting married to long-time girlfriend Dina in Chicago on Feb. 16.
