Not THAT Julia Roberts

In 1990, the year before Julia Roberts the U.S. U-17 soccer player was born, Julia Roberts the movie star had her breakthrough performance in “Pretty Woman.” How were Julia Roberts’ parents to know that Julia Roberts would become one of the biggest movie stars in the world? But she did, and Julia Roberts from Maryland has had to endure the really bad jokes for years and years. She’s heard them all.

“People sing me the song Pretty Woman to me all the time,” said Roberts. “And at airports, the people checking me in always give me the weirdest looks and then say, ‘oh, I loved you in Pretty Woman.’ It wasn’t really that funny the first time or the 50th time.” And no, our Julia has never met Richard Gere.
