What: Watford vs. West Ham
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 2:30 p.m. ET
Why: You’ve read about the Wisconsin kid’s Cinderella rise to the English Premier League, so why not actually see for yourself how good this Jay Demerit is on the soccer field. Unfortunately, Jonathan Spector won’t be ready to go for this match-up as he continues to rehab his shoulder injury.  

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 23
What: Middlesbrough vs. Chelsea
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 3 p.m. ET
Why: Chelsea looked like they’re ready to push for their third straight title with an impressive win over Man City on Saturday, but Middlesbrough would like nothing better than to upset the champs after falling to Reading.

What: Manchester United vs. Charlton

When: 3 p.m. ET
Why: If Manchester United truly believes it can make a run for the EPL title this year, it has to defeat the likes of Charlton.  

FRIDAY, AUG. 25
What: Schalke vs. Werder Bremen
Station: Gol TV
When: 2:25 p.m. ET
Why: An early test for Shalke in the Bundesliga as they take on last year’s runner-up.

SATURDAY, AUG. 26
What: Tottenham vs. Everton
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 10 a.m.
Why: Get a look at Tim Howard as he guards the net for Everton against Tottenham.

What: Chivas USA vs. Houston Dynamo
Station: ESPN2
When: 11 p.m. ET
Why: Rarely are you getting a kickoff before noon for a Saturday game in MLS, so take advantage of this Chivas-Houston game as you start your day of soccer viewing.

What: Manchester City vs. Arsenal
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 12 p.m.
Why: With Captain America no longer playing for the MNT, you should take every advantage to see Claudio play with Man City.

What: Wigan vs. Reading
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 2:15 p.m.
Why: Hahnemann and Convey helped Reading pull off a victory in their first EPL match…can they do it again?

What: D.C. United vs. Los Angeles Galaxy
Station: HDNET or MLS Direct Kick
When: 7:30 p.m. ET
Why: Santino Quaranta looks to be re-energized and now he’ll get a chance to face his old team, D.C. United.

SUNDAY, AUG. 27
What: U.S. Women’s National Team vs. China
Station: ESPN2
When: 1 p.m. ET
Why: The U.S. Women haven’t lost this year and look to keep the streak alive at Toyota Park in Chicago.

What: New England vs. Columbus
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 7 p.m.
Why: Columbus won last week, but can they keep it going?
