What: England vs. Germany (U-21 Qualifying)

When: 3 p.m. ET
Why: Get a chance to see some of the upcoming talent in this match against two of Europe’s best teams.

What: North Carolina vs. Maryland (Women’s College)
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 8 p.m. ET
Why: North Carolina continues to demonstrate their dominance in the women’s college game, but Maryland would love to pull out what would be the biggest win of their season.

SATURDAY, OCT. 7
What: Denmark vs. Northern Ireland
Station: Fox Soccer Channel
When: 2 p.m. ET
Why: Euro 2008 qualifying continues and expect a good match between Denmark and Northern Ireland.

What: Kansas City vs. Chivas USA
Station: MLS Direct Kick
When: 8:30 p.m. ET
Why: Potential for a great match as both teams are looking to make a statement. Kansas City is hoping to secure a playoff spot while Chivas is hoping to bounce back from the performance they had last week.

What: FC Dallas vs. Los Angeles
Station: HD Net
When: 8:30 p.m. ET
Why: L.A. has FC Dallas twice to end the season and they know even a tie can diminish their playoff hopes. This match is away so expect the Galaxy to throw everything they have at the Western leaders.

What: Colorado vs. N.Y. Red Bulls
Station: MLS Direct Kick
When: 9 p.m. ET
Why: Colorado is being chased by Real Salt Lake and the L.A. Galaxy, so a win over N.Y. is crucial. But the Red Bulls are fighting for a playoff spot themselves and points are crucial.

SUNDAY, OCT. 8
What: U.S. WNT vs. Iceland
Station: ESPN2
When: 1:55 p.m. ET
Why: The U.S. Women continue to prepare for qualifying in late November with their last domestic match.
