What: Barcelona vs. Chelsea (Champions League) Station: ESPN Deportes When: 2:30 p.m. ET Why: Chelsea came away with the win in their last meeting, but Barcelona can’t afford to fall again with Werder Bremen on their heels.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 1 What: Arsenal vs. CSKA (Champions League) Station: ESPN2 When: 2:30 p.m. ET Why: The two on top of their group go head-to-head, with Liverpool hoping to take over first place with a win.
What: Real Madrid vs. Steaua Bucharest (Champions League) Station: ESPN Deportes When: 2:30 p.m. ET Why: Real sits in second, but it’s Steaua that is in dire need of a win with only three points gained so far.
THURSDAY, NOV. 2 What: Palmero vs. Newcastle (UEFA Cup) Station: Setanta Sports USA When: 5 p.m. ET (delay) Why: Palmero is having a fantastic start in Serie A, so here’s your chance to catch them in action.
FRIDAY, NOV. 3 What: Women’s Big East Semifinal Station: ESPNU When: 4:30 p.m. ET (11 p.m. delay) Why: Get a look at two of the teams you’ll likely see in the NCAA tourney.
What: Brown vs. Yale (Men’s) Station: Fox Soccer Channel When: 8 p.m. ET Why: These guys aren’t just smart, they can play, too.
